If you keep an eye on Lifetime Moments, they usually have great updates on new stuff… mind you, who else is a bit tired of waiting for the CHA stuff to come out? Not even out in the US yet.
I have ordered some fat birdy stamps from the US. Crafty Secrets – Bird Notes I found the shop through eBay, great collage type stuff. Hi Pamela! Previously, these stamps have eluded me, much like those bloody Art Warehouse – Danielle Johnson ones I’m still trying to find.
Anyway, that dirty, dirty stop out Megan is on the town tonight, in Singleton, with her best mate and without me! Rona and all the girls from SCRAPKATZ are at the Scrapkatz retreat…. and I am sitting here blogging… humming ‘The Sweet Escape’… and ‘Some day my prince will come la la la la la la’ … feeling VERY much like Cinderella… no sight so-far of a pumpkin coach or a few meeces to act as footmen. Still, I have my….. Um….. Own teeth!

Will get the photos of Corroboree down-loaded from the camera soon to show you how I spent my week. 15 hour days most of last week. A conference for American Tourism delegates, I helped out as dogs body, met some nice people and learned heaps! Just don’t want to do it again anytime soon. The delegates had it so GOOOOOD! Spoiled ROTTEN. The last night of the conference ‘The QANTAS Opal Awards’ had the MOST AMAZING floral centrepieces. They were miniature grapevines, even with rose bushes at the end of the rows. MIND BLOWING! Not quite the same without pictures is it? and yeah dumb bum me was WAY too tired and emotional to get out the camera by then.
It’s a certain dirty stop out’s birthday on Wednesday… get over to her blog and tell her how much you love her… she doesnt believe me!

I do feel guilty when I go to my blog to start another post and the blog header says,… ever so politely ‘A Scrapbooking Adventure’ well lately it’s been more adventure and less scrapbooking. You see my friends, may I call you my friends? If you are anything like me, you have an innocent flick (your honour) through all the mags at the library , I mean newsagents lol and decide on whether you should buy one of the twenty two available. Then you go home, read a bit of the mag, read bloglines, see whats new to buy, and there’s your scrapping time…. GONE! Nothing to show for it but a head full-to-bursting with ideas and a stash you can’t jump over. *Sigh* No discipline!
So here are the (now what do I say???) layouts for Paper Fantastic. I found out today via Karens blog that PF has had to close to make more time for Karen’s family… and rightly so… just wanted to say hi to the ladies who applied to join the DT. Your layouts were nothing short of outstanding and I felt very inadequate in comparison. So thank you for sharing and good luck with your scrapping goals!
So on to my 4 layouts… Karen asked for 2 and I was having so much fun I just kept rolling…
*Edited to add* No it isnt a dodgy scan… The letters are very random and intended to be crooked, sorta rustic lol Just wanted to try it…

I am feeling so sad for Lissy, and for Rona and Graham at the moment. Cannot begin to imagine what you must be going through. Love to Miss Rachie too, sending you some wheelbarrowfuls of love and strength. Hoping the tests at least can answer some questions.

* Circus was (of course) fantastic. The girls loved it, I loved it, Gabu was picked out of the crowd to have knives thrown at him by the clown…
* The lions rowred on cue, the effin-ahs were terrific, of course no photos inside, but I managed to take a few outside after the performance. The chubby ringmaster had about 15 changes of spangly, sparkly suits. The trapeze was (all of the ‘up in the air’ stuff) astounding. All in all a brilliant night out.
* Now tell me seriously that you really thought I had a new ‘human’ man??? No, I didn’t think so. .. here is my new love…
His name is Peter Purple and he is strong, clever and never will let me down.. I reckon if I treat this one right (I broke the arm of my last two loves, and it was really easy too) that he will be mine forever ROTFL!

They are all now planted firmly on the pod… and no it’s a green one… they had sold out of pink lol.
But the 40D is shipping!!! unfortunately not to my house yet… Megan just choked on her coffee.. sorry Pet! It has a LIVE SCREEN!!! You know, like a point and shoot.. call me gumby, but I love that about point and shoots. I neeeeeeeeeeed one. So many great reviews already.
Of to the circus tonight…. took the girls yesterday to see the effin-ahs close up during the daylight, in case they freaked seeing them close up.. Well I needn’t have worried. It was all I could do to stop them running through the electric fence to pat them. No ponies this time, EI of course put a stop to horse movements. I have a feeling now EI is in the country, there will be no controlling it… it spread like wildfire through South Africa via the wild horse population on the wind… according to David Payne a S.A. trainer (now training in Oz). an there’s your bit of useless info… for today.
now would you like to meet my new man, Miss Rona introduced me to him.. So strong… so sexy!!!???
